Our founder spent his first weeks working alongside the installers and project managers at his family-owned window coverings business for new-build apartments, offices, and other high-volume projects. It didn't take long to see the same problems showing up again and again. Measurements scrawled on paper, then painfully copied into the computer. Orders placed from notes that were messy, scattered. Sometimes incomplete, and sometimes just lost. Installers occasionally missing windows, only for the GC to catch it the day before an owner walkthrough.
Every one of those problems had a real cost. Remakes. Callbacks. Stress. Lost revenue. It also became clear that this wasn't unique to his family business - it was the same story across the industry.
With a background in software engineering, the fix seemed obvious: build something purpose-built for this industry. Nothing like it existed. After years of development, refinement, and real-world testing within the family business, this new process became our secret weapon. The results were immediate—errors dropped sharply, and so did the overhead. It was clear this wasn't just a solution for one business. The entire window coverings industry was running on the same outdated workflows.
